I’m Johnelle.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a special love for writing and grammar. To be honest, spotting errors in the written word is a natural ability God has given to me. I do it without trying, whether in my leisurely time scrolling through social media, for example, or at work or anywhere, pretty much. And I’m sure others who travel along this editorial path can say the same about themselves.
Writing, on the other hand, is my preferred means of communication. It’s how I best express myself. I can write a thorough essay at the drop of a dime, effortlessly. But ask me to verbally express myself in front of a room of people, and I’ll probably decline.
So, it only makes sense that I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in journalism and my master’s degree in technical communication. Friends, family, and associates alike have all asked me to proofread content for them, for free, as they trust me and know it is something I enjoy doing.
After much thought and unexpected life changes, I thought to myself one day, “Why not make a business out of this?”
And here I am.
